Privacy & terms
Plain language, because we actually mean it. Last updated July 2026.
What we collect
- Nothing, if you just browse. No account, no login, no ad trackers, no cookie banners playing dumb — because there are no advertising cookies.
- Your email, only if you subscribe (newsletter or job alerts), plus the preferences you set (country, city). Used exclusively to send you what you asked for. Every email includes an unsubscribe path; unsubscribing deletes you from the list. We never sell, share or rent addresses.
- Anonymous, cookieless usage analytics via PostHog (EU cloud): which pages get visited, so we know what to improve. Configured in memory-only mode — no analytics cookie, no device identifier stored, so visits can't be linked across sessions even by us. No session recordings, no cross-site tracking, no advertising use.
- Your "My search" data stays in your browser. The profile, application tracker and CV notes live in your device's localStorage and are never uploaded anywhere. Clearing your browser data deletes them; we couldn't read them if we wanted to.
- Standard, short-lived web-server logs (IP, request) for security and rate-limiting.
Cookies — why there is no banner
- We set zero cookies. No advertising cookies, no analytics cookies, no third-party cookies. That's why you don't see a consent banner: EU law (GDPR/ePrivacy) requires one for storage that isn't strictly necessary, and we simply don't do that kind of storage.
- What we do use is your browser's localStorage, only for features you invoke: your "My search" profile and tracker (never uploaded), and small preference flags (e.g. "don't show this tip again"). These are strictly functional — they exist so the feature you asked for works — which EU law exempts from consent. No identifier in them ever leaves your device.
- If we ever add anything that would legally require consent, it will ship behind a real opt-in — not a pre-ticked box.
Newsletter & alerts consent
Subscribing is the consent: you type your email into a clearly-labelled signup, and we use it only for that list. Legal basis: consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR), withdrawable at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email — withdrawal deletes your address from the list. We don't buy lists, cold-email individuals, or add anyone who didn't ask.
Where it lives
Subscriber emails are processed by Resend (our email provider) and stored on our EU-hosted server (Germany). Analytics are on PostHog's EU cloud. That's the whole list of third parties.
Your rights (GDPR)
The data controller is the independent maker who runs this site, based in Spain. You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted — for subscribers that's your email and preferences, and deletion is the same as unsubscribing. Fastest route: the unsubscribe link in any email, replying to any email we send, or opening an issue on GitHub. If you believe we've mishandled your data you can complain to your national data protection authority (in Spain, the AEPD).
Terms, in short
- This is a free directory. Job ads, studio/company profiles and salary figures are aggregated from public sources and employers' own feeds, refreshed daily — we work hard on accuracy but can't guarantee it. Always verify with the employer; every ad links to the source.
- We're not part of any application process and never charge job seekers. If anyone asks you for money to apply through a listing found here, it's a scam — tell us.
- External links (employers, boards, review sites) are other people's sites; their content and policies are theirs.
- Studio/company data comes from public information; owners can correct or claim their profile any time.
- The service is provided as-is, without warranty. Be reasonable with automated access — robots.txt tells crawlers what's welcome.
