Each site, honestly

ExpatJobs.ro (this site)

This site. 2,447 live openings in Romania that don't require Romanian, refreshed every morning from employers' own feeds and curated boards, with researched company profiles, advertised-salary data and relocation guides. Every ad links to the original posting. Built and listed here by us, judged by the same columns as everyone else.

eJobs / BestJobs

Romania's two biggest local boards. Most volume in the country, mostly in Romanian, and no filter for roles where English is enough. Useful once you read Romanian; before that, the multinational/BPO segment this site tracks is the realistic entry point.

LinkedIn

Strong for multinational and tech roles, and the profile itself matters for recruiters. But there is no honest way to filter "no Romanian required", and international competition per ad is brutal. Keep the profile current, use it alongside a language-aware source.

Indeed

The volume aggregator. Scrapes broadly, so duplicates and stale ads are common, and language requirements are unmarked. Fine as a safety net; expect to do the language filtering yourself.

EURES

The official EU mobility portal, fed by national employment services. Legitimate and free, with real cross-border openings, but the search experience is clunky and language tagging is inconsistent. We ingest EURES data ourselves, so its relevant ads already appear here, classified.

Europe Language Jobs

A board built around language skills, strong in customer-support and shared-services hiring across Europe. The closest competitor in spirit; the trade-offs are the registration wall and employer-paid coverage rather than an aggregated view.

Common questions

What is the best job site in Romania for English speakers?

For roles that don't require Romanian, the bottleneck on the big boards is that none of them can filter by language requirement. This site exists for exactly that filter: 2,447 live English-friendly openings, classified per ad, free and without login. The local giants and LinkedIn stay useful as complements, especially once your Romanian improves.

Can I find a job in Romania without speaking Romanian?

Yes, in specific sectors: customer support, shared services, tech, hospitality and teaching carry most of the English-friendly volume. The working-in report on this site shows the current sector split from live ads. The realistic strategy is an English-friendly first job, then a wider market as the language grows.

Which job sites work without registration?

This site and EURES are browsable without an account; the local boards and LinkedIn need a login to apply or see full details. Nothing here requires signup, including the daily alerts (email optional) and RSS feeds.
